The Journey of a Kilim
Every Kilim begins with natural wool and follows a journey shaped by tradition. From hand shearing and vegetable dyeing to careful weaving and final selection, each stage reflects generations of craftsmanship, patience, and authentic artistry.
Wool Shearing
The journey begins with carefully shearing natural wool from the sheep. This first step provides the raw material that forms the foundation of every Kilim, ensuring authenticity, softness, and lasting quality.
Natural Color Preparation
Colors are prepared using natural vegetable-based dyes inspired by traditional methods. These organic ingredients create rich, earthy tones that give each Kilim its timeless character and handcrafted appeal.
Dyed Wool
Create a natural, realistic, traditional-style image of freshly dyed wool hanging or laid out to dry. Show bundles of wool in beautiful natural shades such as red, gold, rust, green, and earthy tones. The wool should appear soft, textured, and handmade, displayed in a rustic traditional setting such as a courtyard, workshop, or village space. Use natural daylight and a warm, organic atmosphere.
